Absolutely. Depending on what kind of IR you have. If they are white and round then you need to use warm water. Do not heat them! Just use warm water and a good filter. Half a cigarette filter works fine. You just have to pull them up slowly with the white ones but if you use about 1 and a half cc's then you should pull back about one cc. Now there are also brown IR 30s that need to be heated and then simply pulled through a filter. Don't listen to these jackasses that wanna tell everyone what to do. Morphine is the oldest pain reliever around and with a little common sense there is nothing that should keep anyone who needs instant pain relief from using it. It's a hell of a lot safer than all the acetaminophen in Lortabs and much more effective.
