Can you smoke weed on coumadin?

yea you should be good i take coumidan and im am fine cause i had a dvt bloodclot.and i smoke but not to much but i f you do that you will have a low tolerance an you only need to hit it once or twice to be set.

i had the same exact thing happen to me my legs were filled with clotts because i had no venacava i wasnt born with it so they built me one and got all the blood clotts out im on warfarin / coumadin for thinning my blood and my doctor told me to take 10 mg's of warfarin when i first got put on it but it turned out to be too much cuz my INR level was sky rocket it was too low at one point but i was on a low does of coumadin then it got raised to 10 mg's once at night daily tho and it made my INR rocket to 4.7 which is high normal level is 2.6 around there i have to go to the doctors every two weeks to get my levels checked and then my doctor told me to take 7.5 mg's after two weeks my levels checked out at 2.7 which was perfect and during all that time i had smoked pot mostly chronic too and the only thing bad ive noticed if you get too high your balance can get off and heart races but that's normal with pot but i havent seen a huge problem yet i guess i will know when i go to my scheduled leg scan and if i don't have any clotts then its completely safe to smoke pot while on warfarin but i wouldn't over do it with smoking while on a blood thinner maybe a bowl or two every couple days ive made an eighth last me prob a month because i wanted to be pre cautious about it.

To my knowledge being on blood thinner twice in my life, this 2nd time for life. I smoke weed for chronic Back pain. I try other methods but nothing works like marijuanna. Honestly, I've been keeping up with my inr/pt and just these past 2mos, I've been going from every 30 days to 2wks, to 1wk to 4 days back to 2wks. Pt/inr went from 2.5 to 1.9 to 1.5 to 4.5. between 1.9 - 4.5 I was smoking weed. Stopped weed. Oh by the way, was on SU,TU,TH,SA 7.5mg. Other days 10mg. Dr. took me off 2 days, back on that Sa with pt/inr and cbc, then 5mg. I havent thought about telling Dr. until now. Because the back pain isnt as bad or often.
