no unless it is a 4 wheel drive and you are in 4 hi or lo. I still wouldn't do it
it has to be reset if you disconnect the battery for a few minutes should do it
that's weird if you replaced the sensor and it still doesnt come on when vehicle is hot then double check your wiring make sure its connected right someone before you might of messed it up and hooked it up backwords also check ground wire, i know on hmwwv we can disconnect from sensor to let it run at all times in Iraq so fan is good its your ground wire and wiring issue.
If your license is suspended, you should not be driving any vehicle, including a company vehicle. The company should not allow you to drive.
Alot of vehicles will enter a "limp" mode if a major sensor has failed. This is usually a low gear so that you can still drive the vehicle out of harms way. It is possible that the speed sensor or something like that has failed. Hope this helps.
Eject it from the computer. After you eject the iPod 'drive' from the computer, it should no longer say 'Do Not Disconnect'.
If Your BMW 525I backup sensor still beeps even when the car is in drive, it could be a faulty fuse. It could also indicate a wiring problem.
You can still drive the car, but your odometer will not move without the speedo cable attached. Make sure you disconnect the cable from the gauges and where it connects to the engine.
Set tires to proper pressure, check label on door jamb. Drive vehicle for ten minutes. If light is still on there is a sensor malfunction and you will need to take it to a service shop.
Do you own a vehicle that is driven? If so you would want to have that vehicle insured. Otherwise, no, I see no reason to have auto insurance if you do not own a vehicle and NEVER drive.
The Turbine Input Sensor is used by the computer to determine transmission speed. There are several back-up sensors that the computer can use in the event the Turbine Sensor fails. A failed sensor will trip the Check Engine light, but the car will still run and you can still drive it.
In most situations, the insurance follows the vehicle, therefore, if you don't have a vehicle you would not have a need to have insurance. You still have the responsibility to make sure that any vehicle that you do drive is insured. If you borrow someone's car and drive it, you have the care, custody, and control of the vehicle and you are legally responsible to make sure it has the legally required coverage. If you drive an uninsured vehicle, you will be ticketed.
