Why does your truck shake violently when you start to release your clutch?

Assuming you mean "engage the clutch" or "Release the clutch pedal" which is the exact opposite of what you actually asked: 1) clutch disc contaminated with grease/oil/brake fluid 2) engine misfire (is RPM high enough?)

Why would a 1995 Tacoma 4cy idle just fine and even run well at high rpm while in park but it will die at high rpm while the truck is being driven?

If it's a stick, it sounds like the clutch or clutch componets.

How do you Drive a 4 Speed Transmission with 2 Speed Rear Axle Flatbed Truck?

Start in 2nd gear in your transmission and low range in the rear axle(switch down), then shift to 3rd, then 4th(using the clutch). When on level ground and need to get truck up to road speed, shift axle into high range(switch up). To go to high axle range, keep accelerator down, pull switch up, then gradually release accelerator and pause until shift is completed, then accelerate as needed. To go to low axle range, when climbing a steep hill and losing speed, keep accelerator down, push switch down, release and quickly depress accelerator. When shifting axle, you don't have to use the clutch.

Why does your snowmobile rev so high before it engages the belt?

you probably need to have your clutch rebuilt in order for it to grab the belt at a reasonable RMP range.

How do you shift 8 speed transmission?

If it is an eight speed in a truck, chances are it is a big rig of some sort. Push the clutch in and put the shifter in first gear. Slowly let off the clutch until the truck starts to move. Speed up until it feels like you need to shift again. You can slip the shifter out of first and into second without using the clutch if you are quick and get the feel of the engine RPMs. If you want to use the clutch you will need to double clutch. Push the clutch in to shift from first to neutral. Now let the clutch out so the engine and transmission gears start turning at the same speed. Now, quickly clutch again and shift into the next gear. let off the clutch and accelerate again. If you have a four speed with a two speed rear end there will be a switch on the shifter. Shift through the first four gears normally, then flip the switch an go back to 1st, which will become 5th gear with the axle in high range. To down shift you should double clutch too. First, clutch to shift into neutral. Let off the clutch and rev up the engine so the RPMs are correct for the vehicle speed and the next gear you want to shift into. Now clutch again and downshift. When you let off the clutch the engine, which can only turn so fast, will pull the truck speed down. You can give the engine some throttle and slowly back off so the engine braking isn't so rough or sudden. Good Luck!

How do you shift an 5 speed split shift?

Starting in 1st with the red range button down in the low position, pull the range button up and let off the throttle youll feel it drop into high range since most of these trannys are in lighter trucks with a syncromestic transmission, clutch it drop the button into low as you slide the shifter into neuteral shift into second and let her rip. Let off and pull it into high range, clutch, neuteral, low range, 3rd, high range 3rd, 4th low, now it gets different, with out touching the range shift into 5th low, pull back into 4th high range then into 5th high. this type is great for skipping shifts. When Im not loaded Ill start in 2nd high and shift 3rd 4th 5th with out touching the range button. To downshift through the ranges push the button down and run the rpms up. on a 10 speed scale 1st low 1st 1st high 2nd 2nd low 3rd 2nd high 4th 3rd low 5th 3rd high 6th 4th low 7th 5th low 8th 4th high 9th 5th high 10th

How do you shift tractor trailer gears?

If you have a low speed such as an 8-10 it is a simple double clutch and shift. But, if you have 13-18 you will have a low and high range switch. 18 Speed is simple for me It is in low range shift 1-4 at 4 switch to high range. Shift 4-8. So, in reality you are not actually shifting 18 times.

Why does the ac compressor cut on and off on a 96 ford e350 75 engine?

It's a cycling clutch compressor, doing what it's designed to do. The AC system is set to operate within a specific pressure range. When it reaches the high side of that pressure range, the compressor clutch cuts out to relieve system pressure. When it reaches the low side of that pressure range, it cuts back on. What you're experiencing is perfectly normal.

How do you switch gears on a banshee four wheeler?

after releasing the clutch and taking off the banshee will go from mid range to high range rpms that's the power band kicking in. when the power band kicks in it will take off like a rocket. after you hit the power band you have about a second or so to shift. after pulling the clutch in and lifting up on the foot shifter it will go from low rpms to high rpms again and so on and so forth
