NO WAY
can you swap a 2.2 head for a 2.2 vtec head? Will it match up with the Block?
yes get a 4age swap
No, It will cost you $$$ to swap that it. The b16 is from Honda. You can go 4age 20v Blacktop, 4agze, 4age Slivertop, 4efte, 3sgte, 2zzge, or 1zzfe with supercharger. Those all depends where you live, emission wise.
what brands r we talkn bout here, all Chevy big block head will swap, same with small blocks but not with each other, If your talking about ford diesels. The short answer is yes. But due to the difference in head bolt size. custom studs need to be used.
Having done the swap previously, the biggest piece of advice I have is, only swap the short block motor. All of the pieces on top of the short block (intake, pumps, throttle body, etc) should come from the '88 motor. This will save many hassles when swapping, and will make the swap essentially a bolt-in swap. The only major differences between the '88 and '89 motors were the actual rotors themselves.
It depends. If there is a DOHC engine available that uses the same bottom end as your SOHC engine, then you can use that DOHC head. Just make sure that there are sufficient valve cutouts on the pistons. If there ISN'T a DOHC head available for your block, then a full engine swap would be a better idea. But even if there is, a full engine swap may be a better and more cost-effective option.
If you are asking what it is its a nonvtec single cam engine with a vtec single cam head on top of the block
compare the engine stamps on the block or head. You may need a book to see if they are compatible to swap out.
Yes you can. You can either use your LS block and put a Vtec head on it or you can just swap it out with a GSR or Type-R motor.
yes, but it's not a direct swap. the 351W is a small block and the 360 is a big block. As such you will need to change things like motor mounts.Good luck
yes.
The timing belt went on my 2.2 honda accord. I want to make it a Vtec now. Should i just get a Vtec motor or swap the Head?
