If the cubic inch is the same the motors should swap out ok. You will have to change some parts but most Chevy motors will swap.
You can if the year of the 454 is between the years of 1988 to 1995
Yes it is and its the easyest to do.
YES, That would be a direct bolt in with NO problems. EVEN SWAP
As long as the 350 is a fuel injected engine / TBI / Throttle Body Injection engine there is NO difference.
Swap the relay with another like relay.
You can swap the engine from your 1997 Cavalier 2.2 liter engine to your 2000 Chevy Cavalier. The wiring harness and motor mounts should be in exactly the same.
This is an engine swap and will require engineering mounts, drive shafts, computers and wiring.
It would help to know what engine you're trying to swap in. Quite a difference between trying to swap in a newer engine of the same model and trying to swap in, say, a Chevy small block.
I think a Chevy V8 will swap, but with HEAVY modification. The main problem will be the oil pan clearance from the frame.
Yes. The exhaust is different, and you'll need a bigger radiator.
the block & heads are the same you just have to pull the 305 out & put the 350 back in
easy, take out the old engine, and put in the 350. it really is that simple.
i wiil try to answear your question what 350 engine are you talking about 350 engine for Buick Oldsmobile Chevy and Pontiac will fit.
Yes. The exhaust will be different, and if it's a big engine going in and a small engine coming out, you might need a bigger radiator.
Yes. The engine can be replaced with a different type, usually with better performance.
yes as long as you swap electric parts
Nothing, go buy a Chevy and put a Corvette engine in it.
Are the engine sizes the same?Chevy put a few different engines in the S-10.In most cases as long as the body style is not to different the swap should be ok.If the engine is a 4.3L you will have a lot of tight work as the engine is about crammed into these trucks. You will be in there a good 6-8 hours removing the engine. What you need to insure is that all your sensors can swap from engine A to engine B.Also if the engines are of diffent sizes you have more work ahead as you may have a computer swap on your hands as well. There are groups of Chevy owners that mod many a Chevy. You can get that info by searching in any search engine like yahoo or Google and finding V8 mods for them.
yes it will you can go all the way to a big block to a 4 cly. that's the great thing about a ChevyAnsweryes,it shoul swap right out
The 350 and the 305 is a direct swap, The only thing that is different with the 305 is the size of the pistions, They are smaller then the 350 engine. Just transfur the intake and all the other parts from the 305 and put it all on the 350 engine. Easy job.
The Z24 engine is an overhead valve engine and the Z34 is an overhead cam engine. The Z34's engine is pretty tight in it's engine bay so if you were thinking of doing a "swap", Z34 engine will not fit in the Z24.
find a good big block Chevy engine and install it.
