You used to be able to buy a prepaid phone from Walmart and activate it on your Verizon contract. I bought dad a new LG from Walmart not too long ago and when I dialed *228 and option 3 to activate, it said that they werent able to activate the phone because it has to be active on a prepaid account for at least 6 months. I've always bought prepaid phones but now the Verizon system has caught up. I used to work for Verizon Wireless and I didnt have any problems until now.
You just need to pay for the contract phone at full price. The reason why you need a contract is because phone companies subsidize your phone. They make sure the customers eventually will pay for the cost of the phone during the length of the contract. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
The phone would have to be of their pre paid collection of phones, and I would think they would not budge from the already made contract.
no you have to go into the store and have it flashed over to verizon's network it cost anywhere from $15.00-$30.00
Yes, you can get a no contract phone with Verizon. You can buy it everywhere, even at the Verizon store. But you have to be aware that certain discounts do not count when you buy a no contract phone, and your phone has to be verizon compatible.
A contract phone is a phone that you pay a monthly rate for, and have to keep paying for. They're usually cheaper, but with a prepaid phone, you can stop your service at any time without breaking the contract.
One of the major benefits of a prepaid Verizon phone is that in general, they are cheaper per month. You would be able to stop the phone service whenever you want and not have to pay to end the contract, seeing that pre-paid have no contract.
No, T-Mobile is GSM and Verizon is CDMA so you can't switch between those two networks. Unlocked T-Mobile can be used on AT&T though.
I would like to know if its possible to turn my verizon contract phone and switch it to a pre-pay??
verizon prepaid and cheap cards and for my mobile prepaid and gusto mobile phone
Try Tracfone, GoPhone, T Mobile Prepaid, and Verizon. These services all offer cheap prepaid cell phone deals.
Generally, No. Although if you purchase the phone unlocked, you can use it with a Verizon prepaid plan.
every body says no and Verizon wont use it as a prepaid but if you go to metro PC they will switch it for you but it being a smart phone you cant use the 'smart' capbilities like the mobile tv and the internet
Yes you can. . . .for example you can put a at&t prepaid go phone SIM into an at&t contract phone and it will still be prepaid.
