I do not think so. Some places offer it at when your 11.
at the American Red Cross Babysitting Course.. there should be an American red cross in your state. the age is from 11-15
if you take a course, any age or it depends on the person you are babysitting
Okay you have to go to your nearest Red Cross and they have something called a Babysitting trainers course and that's how you get it. You have to be 12 years of age or over. They will give you a certificate for taking the course.
I belive you must be 13 years of age and have passed the red cross babysitting course.
Although there is not a legal age I do recommend 11 or 12. Depends on maturity. 10 and under is a big no-no. Take a course first
If you are responsible at 13 there should be no problem. The Red Cross teaches a class in babysitting that would be good to take.
There are no age limits for babysitting in Canada, but it depends on the sitter and the parents when you should start. I began taking short jobs at 11, but some people don't start until their mid teens! It always helps to have taken the Red Cross babysitting course too... Good luck babysitting!

12. Before you do this, if would benifit you to take a babysitting class atthe Red Cross. It really benifited me and not to mention you can raise your prices.
the legal age of babysitting in Canada is 11!
