Can you take Ibuprofen and oxycodapap together?

I would venture to say that you shouldn't combine these drugs without checking with your pharmacist first. For your own health I would advise this. However, seeing that ibuprofen is an NSAID (designed to relieve muscle pain by reducing inflammation) and that Oxycodone/APAP (Percocet) is an analgesic, there is no pharmacological reason that THESE cannot be used with each other. However, cephalexin is an antibiotic and may reduce the effectiveness of the Percocet/IB combination, or worse, have adverse reactions such as liver damage or respiratory depression (slowing of breathing caused by too much depressent). I would ask a pharmacist before taking anything. If he gives you the all clear, then by all means go for it. If not, don't do it. Period.

It is safe to take the two together, however if the pain relieving quality of your dose of oxycodone is not sufficient, speak to your doctor about adjusting your dosages. Also there are opoid painkillers that have ibuprofen in them that you could switch to.

Yes, you can. Just be careful with how much ibuprofen you take and be careful with the oxycodone, remember Doctors don't put warning stickers on medicine bottles because they look cool. If you are going to use this combination and say it's your first time., I recommend starting with just 5mg-15mg of the percocet/oxyapap and then I recommend taking 600mg of ibuprofen. If you want to increase opiate effects, just take a OTC Tagamet at least 30-45 min.(on empty stomach) before taking any kind of opiate. When you do this I would take half of your normal dosage, depending on the strength of the Tagement. Wash opiates down with a carbonated beverage, coke or pepsi, or Dr. Pepper. Answer Yes fine but as you normally take them both 4 hours apart take the oxycodapap then the iburofen 2 hours later.
