As with all medications, always consult a doctor for this kind of advice. I do know benadryl is a very potentially dangerous over the counter drug, possibly the most dangerous of all. It is not even sold at all in some countries like Mexico. So go by doctor's advice only on this question. Let him know all the medications you are taking (as always).

∙ 14y agoMy wife just had this combination in the emergency room of our hospital last night. It was terrible! She was very jittery and had trouble breathing. She couldn't stand it, so they gave her an injection of Zofran, and that was much better. It can be serious, so be careful.

Yes. Excedrin PM (unlike its cousins - the other Excedrins) does not contain caffeine. It contains diphenhydramine (Benadryl) to help you fall asleep. So it will not react with Phentermine, which is a stimulant. Phentermine stays in the system a long time. 16-31 hours is its half-life (which means it might take more than full day to work out of your system). So be careful in the daytime with other stimulants.
