Midol contains acetaminophen, a diuretic, and antihistamine. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and inflammation reducer like Ibuprophen. Contact a doctor before using Midol and Ibuprophen at the same time.
According to my Obstetrician you can take Tylenol or Ibuprophen while pregnant.
Answer: Chances are you shouldn't be mixing the two.
It can. I use seriquel to sleep but I also have PTSD and it helps me with stabilizing my moods.
It will depend the kind of diet pills your taking and how much seriquel you are taking as well. Ive currently been on 50mg of seriquel for 4years to help with my insomnia and have taken many diet pills of different brands over those last few years with no negative effect. If you are unsure, consult with a doctor, they will know 100% if those two drugs are safe to be mixing.
Depending on your body weight, I would say 3-6 hours.
Hydrocodone is normally dispensed tied with another drug, such as acetominophen or ibuprophen. If your hydrocodone prescription is labeled APAP or Lortab, it is tied to acetominophen. If it is labeled Vicoprophen, it is tied to Advil. Be careful not to take more than the recommended dosage of Tylenol or advil. Hydrocodone has yet to establish a recommended daily doseage.
You should split them apart by about 3 hours. Both of these are pain medications, and are harsh on your stomach. Taking that much together would be very likely to give you severe heartburn and possibly nausea.Yes you can. Ibuprophen, being an NSAID, is great for imflamation pain. Lortab, of course is a narcotic mix of Hydrocodone and "Tylenol". I recomend taking 400mg to 800mg of Ibuprophen ALTERNATING with the Lortab. In other words take the Lortab every six hours and in between doses of the Lortab take the Ibuprophen. This will keep stomach irritation down. The other possibility is to ask your Doctor to prescribe Vicoprophen, which is a pill that has Hydocodone and Ibuprophen (instead of Tylenol) in it. It has 200mg of Ibuprophen so it may require you to take another advil or two with it to boost the ibuprophen level.
Ibuprophen 800mg is a good anti-inflammatory. The brand name of the prescription is Motrin. You can also take 4 over-the-counter Ibuprophen 200mg from Walgreens and it's exactly the same thing. Ibuprophen is one of the most effective anti inflammatory medicines you can take. I have had it via prescription, because the copay with my prescription insurance is cheaper (than buying it over-the-counter) and taking one 800mg tablet is more appealing than taking 4 of the over the counter kind.
Yes, but not for extended periods, less than a week. Do not exceed 650mg Tylenol and 800mg Motrin per dose. Dose no more often than every 8 hours. Or you can alternate them every 4 hours.
You should really ask your doctor, however both medications do different things. Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) is a muscle relaxant and ibuprophen is an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) Both are prescribed together sometimes. If the Flexeril is not your prescription, it is highly recommended that you ask a doctor if this medication is okay for you to take. There are other reasons why you maybe should not take it. Since the ibuprophen is an over the counter drug, it is up to you if you want to take it. Even though medications are OTC, this does not mean they are harmless. In fact, if you do not NSAIDs with food, they can cause serious damage..even blood loss through your intestinal tract. Even if you do take them with food, sometimes damage will occur. Pay attention to any abdominal pain and changes in the appearance of your stools.
yes you can become addicted to ibuprofen as it is a painkiller
