I am no doctor but I just got the 2 of them prescribed by a doctor went to the pharmacy and was lucky the pharmacist was on the ball. I am allergic to codeine and ultram is a derivative and should not be taken by people that are allergic to codeine.

Well long story short I did some reading and though ultram is a great pain management drug all I have been reading it should not be taken with a muscle relaxer and in studies the 2 mixed have cause convulsions.

Like I said I am no doctor but after what I read, I would not recommend it.
