Both Fioricet and Vicodin are prescription medicines and can sometimes be used for Migraine attacks. Both medicines can also cause medication overuse headache if not used sparingly. Triptans are now the firstline drugs for Migraines. Whether fioricet or vicodin is better for your Migraine is dependent upon the patient. Only a doctor can diagnose or initiate treatment of Migraine Headaches with prescription medications.
I take Norco (10/325) for motility issues related to diverticula disease and rectal spasms. I'm experiencing headaches and the Norco does nothing to alleviate them. Doctor prescribed Fioricet. Since it's the same doc, I don't see a problem, but wonder about side effects of missing the two drugs?
Yes. I am prescribed both together. The only thing you have to monitor is your apap consumption because they both contain apap aka Tylenol.
Can I take Fioricet with Flexerill
No never take extra tylonal when taking vicodin. vicodin already contains tylonal. More tylonal will hurt your liver and kill you.
Yes.
The maximum safe dose of vicodin is a function of how much Tylenol is in the vicodin The most vicodin w/apap you should take in a day is 80/4000
As long as you're not taking massive amounts of the Suboxone (like, more than two 8-mg pills) yes, the Vicodin will still work as a pain killer, even though you won't get high from it. You will probably have to take a double dose of it, though, or even a triple dose, depending on how much Suboxone you are taking. I am on Suboxone and last autumn I had a root canal, and the oral surgeon prescribed Vicodin for me, but I had to take double doses of it to get enough relief from the pain. I also had to cut my Suboxone dose in half (I was taking 8-mgs per day and cut it down to 4). Whatever you do, don't stop taking the Suboxone completely, because if you completely stop taking it you will have to wait until you're in extreme withdrawal from the Vicodin before you start taking Suboxone again. If you stop taking the Suboxone, and then start taking it again before you're in heavy withdrawal from the Vicodin, you will experience the worst, most horrible withdrawal symptoms you can imagine. You will get really, really sick.
is it safe to take fioricet with paxil
There is not that much hydrocodone in Vicodin, that's the acetaminophen. Yes it is safe to take that amount.
no, wait 5-6 hours
noi have done that before, and you get really dizzy and high and sleepy. i have a friend who was with me when i did it who knows people who work at a pharmacy and she called them and they said that its not a good idea. i believe them.
If you want to, yes. But the methadone is a much more potent opiate than Vicodin. If you are taking an adequate dose of methadone, then it is likely that all your opiate receptors in your brain are full. That is, in fact, the point of taking methadone. If they are, then you probably won't "feel" anything from the Vicodin. If you are not taking an adequate dose of methadone, then the Vicodin will help with pain/opiate withdrawls/whatever you are taking it for. It is important to add that if you take the Vicodin with methadone, or any long acting/extended release opiate, that you are still increasing your chances of respiratory depression(the #1 risk of taking too many pain-killers or benzodiazopenes) EVEN IF you do not "feel" the effects from the Vicodin.
If you are taking it without a legal prescription YES they can choose not to hire you.
