Unfortunately, there are so many GPS units that the BEST way is to contact the manufacturer of the GPS unit. The best way is to email them. If you cannot find a solution this way, the best alternative that I have seen is a Universal GPS Dashboard Bean Bag Car Mount from overstock.com. The GPS unit just sits in the bean bag which has a slip resistant base.
