i own a Mazda 5 also, and wonder the same question. i would like to tow a small boat. it says in the manual never tow with the Mazda 5. however in europien countries the Mazda 5 is rated to tow i think it was 2000 pound. ive done some web Surfing and some people say they don't rate it to tow in the us because of liability reasons. look online and you can find 3 or 4 diffrent brand receiver hitches made for the Mazda 5. curt, reese, draw tight just to name a few. my small boat weighs 1400 pounds. if they tow with the same vehicle in Europe why cant we do it here. i think i am going to order the draw tight hitch along with the trailer wire harness and pull my little boat. its 1400 pounds. i don't think i would pull a whole lot more weight than that though.
"Never tow a trailer with your Mazda"
mazda b2000
Sure you can, you can tow any vehicle
The Tribute can tow up to 3500 lbs. If the Mazda 3 + any trailer you hitch it to is less than that, yea.
I have a 2002 Mazda Protege5 that we towed 5000 miles across the country (4 wheels down, tow-bar, etc) last summer behind our motorhome and another thousand or more so far this year. Ours is 5-speed, and I doubt you could tow the automatic this way.
I wouldn't tow it, I would get it on a trailer. The towing information is in the owner's manual.
If you do you will need a power steering and automatic transmission oil coolers.
You call a tow truck and they will lift the front wheels
yes up to 100lb toung weight so it would have to be small I tow my jetski with a 06 cobalt... I have never had any problems... I had a hitch installed by uhaul and they have said and warranteed 1000lbs ..
1500kg tow weight for 1800kg 2wd AFT van.

Depending on your year model you will more than likely have to tow it on a flatbed unless you want to screw up your awd.
