It appears shorter in a pig because the esophagus does not lead very far before it empties into the pigs stomach. Where the food is then digested throughout the rest of the digestive system.

A bee entering your mouth is far more likely to sting inside your mouth or your throat. By the time it reaches your stomach it probably will be dead, and it certainly wouldn't survive once it reached the highly acidic stomach juices.
No, warm cow's milk will make the problem worse. Crackers are far too dry and, as soothing on the stomach they are for humans, they are not for a cat. The best thing to feed a cat is plain (not seasoned) cooked chicken, preferably boiled. Plain chicken is very bland and very easy for a cat's stomach to digest. You can even use some of the cooking water to moisten the chicken with, or just to entice the cat to drink. Purchasing malt paste such as Pro-Kolin may also help. This paste is a probiotic and helps balance the bacteria in the cat's stomach and gut. Keep the cat on this bland diet for a few days should give things enough time to settle. If your cat is still unwell after a few days, it is recommended to consult a vet.
The esophagus connect with the stomach just below the diaphragm.

Acid reflux is when stomach acids rise into the esophagus and burn the walls. The stomach can bear the harsh acids because the stomach is lined with walls that protect the other organs. Some people get ulcers which are holes in the stomach's lining (very painful) :( If the stomach acids make their way too far to the top of the esophagus the walls of the esophagus are burned because they do not have protective lining walls mostly because acid is not meant to be there! :) hope this helped
No the hydrochloric acid in your stomach is far more acidic than vinegar. The stomach has a lining which is resistant to acid for this very reason.
Your heritage goes all the way back to the very very beginning. However, no one is able to trace their ancestry that far, and few are able to trace back more than a 200 years or so.
you can trace it as far as Cristobal colon landing there

The main organs of the digestive system are the mouth, stomach, liver, pancreas, small intestine, and large intestine. Secondary organs include the esophagus (food tube connecting mouth and stomach) and the gall bladder (concentrates and distributes the bile from the liver).First of all it is the mouth, then the tongue, then the esophagus or food pipe. Then it is the stomach. After that, it is the liver which secretes bile juice, then the pancreas. After that, it passes to small intestine, then to large intestine and then finally to the rectum, then the anus, and then it is excreted.
