Chickens are surprisingly smart animals, since they are social creatures. They respond quite well to clicker training. Just keep the training sessions fairly short so they don't lose interest and stay consistent.
Many dogs will. You can train them not to but most dogs instinct is to chase critters like squirrels.
dogs enjoy pooping chickens!
no nothey hate dogs!
No sorry
Yes dogs have pups and chickens have chicks
lions, dogs, and chickens lions, dogs, and chickens
The dog will like it because the chicken will be chased all the time. I doubt the chicken will like to have a dag nearby. Also, the chicken might get eaten. Advice: have a barn with chickens rather than having ti nearby or in the house. It will be very crazy with dogs and chickens running around!
Because they are close cousins. That's also why dogs look like apples
At times its because one is attempting to gain dominance. only if one dog is not able to move the next day and is hurting other people Dogs see chicken and guineas as prey. Back in the old ages, they were breed for hunting rats and game fowl. Dogs have natural instincts to catch and eat them.. Chickens in particular are often killed by dogs. If your dog is a hunting dog, like a Labrador, it would be very hard to teach them to refuse the killing instinct. XD
Type your answer here... The best dogs for training are big dogs, like labradors, big dogs are easy to train, small dogs are harder,a hard dog to train is a chihahua
Probably not. By other animals I assume you mean other than chickens. Once a dog kills chickens he will probably want to do it again, and will if given the chance. Dogs like this may have strong hunting instincts and he no doubt hunts small animals like mice or lizards. But other dogs, cats, ect. are probably safe.
Umm... depending on how you train your dog has a BIG impact on weather it can guard chickens or not. We taught mine to hunt or kill small animals such as chickens so my dog couldn't possible guard chicken without eating them. But if you train your dog to guard chickens he could guard them but there is a small possibility that it may eat the chickens since that is what it was initially bred for.
