Was just looking for a fixture myself and noticed that some of the boxes clearly indicated "for use in hot and humid conditions". Perhaps yours is not of this type. There is little technology in a neon so I have to conclude that temperature and humidity have an effect on the ballast. Personally, I have a similar question,,,,, I tried to install a neon fixture in my garage during the winter and it performed very poorly. I think there may be a model for cold environment. I'm on the search! Good luck.
The difference in energy states for the electrons is different in sodium and neon, so they produce different wavelengths (the emission spectrum of each element is different) or colors.
that depends. it should be able to produce the same amount of horsepower as it gas counter part if it is tuned correctly, but it will get slightly less gas milleage. if it is boosted(turbo or supercharged) you can turn the boost up higher since propane is 104 or more octane, and that will achieve more power.
You probably don't need to change the dash lights. On the headlight panel there is a control to dim or brighten the dash lights. This same control allows you to turn them completely off. I don't remeber on that particular car if the light switch rotates or has a separate switch but all cars have this feature.
Well, as far as I know, all particles are made of molecules which in turn are made of atoms which again in turn are made of protons, electrons and neutrons. Going further, the protons and neutrons are made of quarks, electrons are a fundamental particle and therefore not made of anything. However, there are some gases, the noble gases (helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, radon) that are found naturally as single atoms. Therefore, particles of a gases might be "molecules" or "atoms," depending on the gas.
yes all you need is a boost controller
No, they do not come turbo. Yes you can boost them though. I was running a KA on boost with stock internals just fine. Obviously do not turn the boost up to 20 pounds or something..
first by taking all of the 2.0 out and finding a 3.0L and fabbing some motor mounts out of the seibring to fit the neon. i also have a 95 neon and currently putting a srt4 engine in it with stage 3 components. this like the 3.0 swap requires the wiring harness out of the seibring and computer just like srt4. the hardest part is fabricating the motor mounts to fit. if your not mechanically inclined then turn this project down. because many headaches and confusing things will happen but well worth it in the end. especially when your turning 15 or 16 in the 1/2 mile. in a 95 neon, i know all this because my current project 95 neon is getting swapped by me and a friend with srt4 and i just finished helping my friend with the 3.0 in his 96 neon. both these neon are highlines also. some years in 1st gen neon on sport models are slightly different dimensions in the firewall so watch that or uall have a tight fit. hope this can help you e-mail if any more questions. at N2_NEONS@hotmail.com
A stock eagle talon tsi's 4g63t motor produces... 5 Speed 210 HP at the Crank Automatic 205 HP at the Crank Now for turning up the boost level its very easy. All is required is to buy a boost guage... and boost controller. Once you have that its a simple turn of a knob. 90-94 Talons come with 14b Turbos. Can easily and efficiently push out 200-320 HP with the right tuning and piping.
Easiest way is to get a Manual Boost controller. Something like a GFB MBC (Manual Boost controller) is a very easy way to raise the boost. (Google GFB) A Boost gauge is also mandatory if you raise the boost...otherwise you might turn it up to much and destroy the engine!
By chemical reaction.
mold
you need to call, the people and they will turn it on for yo u
the end off the turn signal switch
Yes, the HTC One on Virgin Mobile can be turned to boost Mobile.
Install a boost controller, either manual or automatic, and turn down the boost.
neon is not a color its an element. I don't think you need to mix it with anything to turn it a color.
