Yes, of course.

There are five classifications of airsoft, one is gas operated the second is battery operated, the bolt action gas operated uses a top level gas, spring, and co2. the only one you need batteries for are the battery operated.

Most bb's will work in most guns. There are 2 different sizes (6mm and 8mm) but 8mm bb's are very hard to find, because there are only a hand full of guns that use them (I know of 1 gas blow back rifle and maybe 10 of revolvers that do). Where bb's vary the most is in weight. The standard is .2g, which can be used in almost all rifles and pistols. If you have one of the all plastic under 100 dollar guns you should probably use .12 g bb's because they will put less stress on your gearbox and give you higher fps (they are not very accurate though, which is why .2g bb's are more commonly used). For increased accuracy snipers and some rifle users will use heavier bb's (for rifles usually only up to about .25g, for snipers all the way up to even .4g with the most common being .25g and .3g). These heavier bb's will fly straighter for longer, which is ideal for snipers and high end AEG's that can handle the extra stress and have the power to shoot them at a decent fps (the heavier the bb the lower the fps).

By upgrade I'm guessing you mean longer battery life. You can purchase battery packs that will last longer, but you have to take into account the initial size, you dont want to buy a new battery just to find out it wont fit in your gun.

Is there an airsoft gun that has a built in battery?

I don't know of any airsoft guns with built in batteries, but if there were any it would be extremely inconvenient. The nice thing about airsoft gun batteries is that they are rechargeable, and that they can be replaced with fully charged ones between games.

Double Eagle guns are cheap Chinese toys. They cannot be upgraded. You should buy Classic Army or Marui airsoft gun, they are easy to upgrade.

How do you make your aisoft gun go faster?

If you upgrade your battery, the gun should fire faster. Most airsoft guns are supplied with an 8.4V battery. You can go higher to 9.6 or 10.8, which are much bigger. The batteries that will get you firing at your fastest are Lithium batteries, which are usually at 11.1V. But be careful, because lithium batteries must be used with care; misuse can cause the battery to explode. Also, one word of warning. Rapid fire wears down the internals, as does upgrading the battery. I would recommend taking your airsoft gun to a trained specialist to upgrade your gun before you put a bigger battery on it. Not doing so can potentially wear down your gun or even destroy it. You can upgrade the internals yourself, but you do so at your own risk.

Is a airsoft gun a real gun?

No, airsoft guns are toys. They use batteries and gearboxes to fire 6mm plastic bbs at an average of 2 joules. Although many high powered air rifles can be as dangerous as real guns, they should not be confused with airsoft guns.
