If the recommended oil is SAE30 why would you use SAE 10W30? Some mowers recommend either of these weights but if your recommends 30W then using 10W30 will cause it to use oil.
It can vary between 30W and 10W30. L-heads use 30W, OHVs often use 10W30.
Use 30w synthetic or 10w30 synthetic. 30w is preferred.
Most manufactures recommend SAE 10W30 or 30W. I recommend you use 10W30 Synthetic in any air cooled small engine.
10w30 for year round use, and 30w for only summer use.
10w30 synthetic for year round use, and 30w for only summer use.
SAE 30W in the summer and SAE 10w30 in the winter. I recommend you use 100% synthetic oil in any air cooled engine.
10w30 Synthetic oil is what is best for any air cooled engine. You can also use straight 30w.
Yes you can.
Neither of those oils are indicated for these engines. OHV engines generally use 10W30 and L-head engines use 30W. Nothing prevents you from mixing weights, just check your oil level before starting.
Use 10W30 and do not use 10W40 or straight 30W.
SAE 10w30 or SAE 30w. I highly recommend you use Synthetic oil in this air cooled engine. Change the oil once a year.
