Two stroke fuel uses the same gasoline but has had oil added to lubricate the internal engine parts of a 2 stroke engine which does not have oil in a sump to lubricate the engine like a 4 stroke.
If you put this mix into a 4 stroke engine it will make a great deal of smoke and foul the spark plug, causing the engine to stop running. No permanent damage but definitely not recommended.
Why the fuel consumption is less in 4 stroke engine as compared to 2 stroke engine
4 stroke fuel is straight petrol, it does not have oil in it! If you use it in a 2 stroke engine you will seize the motor. 2 stroke fuel has oil added to it.
Fuel is fuel. The fuel only changes when you add 2 stroke oil to it. You can burn it in a 4 stroke engine, might smoke some, but it is not recommended for your normal outing.
2 stroke engines use oil mixed with the fuel for lubrication. This causes them to pollute the atmosphere. They are also very noisy.
what is the fuel and oil mixture for a kx 250, 2 stroke
Yes, I some 2 stroke engines for boats have it and KTM is developing one for dirtbikes.
The fuel mixture for a Yamaha 40 hp 2 stroke outboard engine is 50:1, gas, oil mixture. You should use new gas when you get the engine ready for the season.
It is possible to use 4-stroke oil in a 2-stroke engine in an emergency situation. You should not use this oil in the long term as it will damage the engine.
any gas station. its called gasoline There is such a thing as a 2-stroke or a 4-stroke engine, but the fuel is the same (gasoline). The difference being that the 4-stroke engine uses regular gasoline straight from the pump while on the 2-stroke engine you have to mix 2-cycle oil with the gasoline.
The best way to know if an engine is 2-stroke or 4-stroke, is to look for an oil spout. If the engine has an oil spout where oil has to be poured into, it is a 4-stroke. If the engine has no oil spout and the oil has to be added to the fuel, then it is a 2-stroke.
A 2-stroke dirtbike will be powered by a 2-stroke engine and a 4-stroke dirtbike will be powered by a 4-stroke engine. For the same power, the 2-stroke will be a lighter bike. For the same weight, the 4-stroke will be a weaker/slower bike. The 2-stroke is likely to use more fuel and make more noise. The 4-stroke will run cleaner and quieter.
the first motorcycle used coal for its steam powered engine but now they use gas that doesnt completely answer the ? so with all honesty yes. in fact, all motorcycles use gas and oil. 4 strokes use fuel to run, and oil in the engine, where as a 2 stroke requires gas/2 stroke oil mix for fuel, and oil for the engine.
