it depends-
Do not use any type of turbine oil it is synthetic and will eat up your seals.
You could use some of the piston aviation oil if you don't operate under
dirty conditions, make sure it is not synthetic (aircraft use different oil seal the autos) and use a turbo oil it has more additives which work well with diesel engines
in a car with a turbo which stays on the paved roads a aviation piston
engine oil for turbo charged aircraft at 30 to 50 weight would be good
most oils are made about the same way its the additives diesel oils have more detergent to keep the carbon suspended and not collecting on the insides of the engine- turbos get hot and tend to bake the oil and carbon
on the engine parts.
i am a aircraft mechanic since summer of 88 and have worked farm and diesel
repair since i was in grade school
Are you talking about using Jet fuel as fuel for the SD33T? If so then the answer is yes, but you must add lube oil to your tank. It is very common around airports and in the military to use Jet fuel or JP4 in diesel vehicles. This fuel has less lubricity that regular diesel so an additive like lube oil must be used.
Perhaps you mean Jet fuel and Diesel fuel. These two fuels are similar. Diesel fuel can be used to fuel most if not all jet aircraft in an emergency. I don't know, but I suspect the reverse would be true. Be aware that Jet fuel and general aviation (GA) fuel are not the same. Jet fuel is essentially kerosene and GA fuel is essentially gasoline but at higher octanes.
No you can not use gas engine oil in diesel engine oil because processing of diesel engine is different from gas engine oil. If you use this then it damage your vehicles.
NO, do not use diesel oil and a gasoline engine.
Oil is just as important to a diesel engine as it is to a petrol engine
"Diesel oil" or "Heavy oil" is another term for diesel fuel. Not to be confused with "engine oil for a diesel engine" which means lubricating oil specially formulated for use in diesel rather than petrol engines.
5 liters of diesel engine oil.
any diesel oil will be fine
There is not a whole lot of difference if you are using the oil in an older diesel engine. The diesel oil of today has special additives to combat the soot buildup in the oil from the EGR. The diesel oil will get dirty a lot sooner on the late model engines. A 15w40 for a gas engine can be used in a diesel.
Yes, never put oil formulated for a diesel in a gasoline engine.
apparently cooking oil with diesel
No #4 diesel fuel oil is for oil burners and will not ignite in a diesel egine
2006 duramax 6.6l diesel 10 litres 15w40 engine oil.
5w30 or 5w40 synthetic diesel engine oil
