If you are a UK Citizan you will have a National Insurance Number (NI Number) This will be one of the first requirements an employer must ask for BEFORE accepting you for employment. A British Citizan offering a passport does so as a form of identification. A UK driving licence with your picture on can also act as a form of identification.
A passport and a license
Check with the British Embassy in Canberra.
I am from Canada How long before i can work in England if i marry a British woman
A British passport holder doesn't necessarily have the right to live and work in the UK.
if you have a current valid British passport you are recognised as a British citizen, therefore you do not need a visa to work in the UK. You can also get the full information from Visa Simple, that provides bespoke support to their clients and customers.
Yes, because both Sweden and Britain are in the EU. As a British passport holder you are also an EU citizen, which gives you the legal right to live and work in any other EU country.
I cannot see how old this question is. I would go to a Buergerbuero to get a new passport and they can answer the questions about work. The only things you need to get a job is a passport and a flat I would say.
If you are a legal resident of Great Britain and with to visit the United States for a week and do not plan to work while there, you do not need a visa. Your passport will work.
i want to work in America with my british passport is it possible
To work in the EC you need a British Passport with your nationality marked as 'British Citizen'. The only exception to this is the British Colony of Gibraltar which is part of the EC. Subjects of other British Colonies and British dependant territories citizens are not from the EC and therefore require work permits. I believe subjects from the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are also excluded unless they have a parent or grandparent who were born on the British main land, Northern Ireland or Gibraltar. If you are not sure the best thing to do is check your status with the British Embassy.
umm.....somewhere in Britain but if you have a passport you can work in another country if you get asked. (but only temporarily unless you like that job and move there)
With extreme difficulty. Suggest contacting an attorney.
