No, you really shouldn't and cats don't generally need to be bathed. If your cat has a mess at the back end then you have no choice or if they have fallen into something then using Oatmeal dog shampoo is about the best product. Unless your cat actually needs to be bathed then don't bathe them. Most cats are good groomers and they need the essential oils in their skin. Some people that 'show' their cats may bathe them.

Shampoo for cats is usually a shampoo made for pets in general (unless it is a specially medicated shampoo, then do not use it on any other animal) There are so many inexpensive shampoos for dogs made for their rough and dirtiness. Visit your local vet for more questions/concerns. Please don't take any body's word on anything they say over the internet. :)
