If you have a 4-channel stereo installed, then there is a point. The door speakers would be front, left & right channels, the parcel shelf speakers would be rear, left & right.
You have to remove the door panel. Then it's pretty much self-explanatory.
I dont advise it, but if you have a stock head unit, you will have to run your subs off of the door speakers. they will not be getting as much power as they should and neither will your door speakers.
A 'parcel' is an inexact term. It's like saying a 'piece' of chocolate. There is no exact measure of a 'piece'. A parcel is a piece of real estate. It can be a 5,000 square foot parcel or a ten acre parcel.

I have a 1999 4DR - front door speakers are pre-wired for 4-five inch speakers.....you can use a prefab plastic spacer if you want to go larger, or smaller....I also learned the Tercel is pre-wired from Japan for the rear speakers....the masonite/cardboard, and carpet covering requires a little trimming before installing the 6 inch speakers I used - but it actually sounded great, much better than what I expected! Mike from Canada
the 96 thru 99 tahoes have the same size speakers. the rear door speakers are also 6 1/2" but you haveto be carefull with them because they are shallow mount speakers and not all 6 1/2 will fit because mounting depth is to much. Not sure if it is the same on 99 but the 96 has 6 1/2" in the front doors and 4x10" located in the headliner in the rear of the vehicle.
how much do you Weigh? How much does the parcel Weigh?
The cast of Too Much Parcel Post - 1913 includes: Charles Arling as The Country Postman
It depends on the model of stereo and if you have a sedan or wagon. The door speakers are the only ones you can replace without too much modification, but you should be able to get the old speakers fixed and get things to sound good again for less yhan the cost of new speakers.
Couriers will agree to take as large of a parcel overseas. This mostly depends on how much money you are willing to pay and how much they are willing to get from you.
The door speakers on Chevy trailblazers become intermittent over time and will quit with temperature variations until finally they will no longer work. I tried to replace the speakers with a cheap pair of aftermarkets thinking anything is better than factory, but not true. After much research and finding that aftermarket component speakers are more expensive than factory and being told I need an amp to drive them and other baloney, I decided to spend the $100 a piece and replace the whole speaker assembly. Good move - the low end is back where it should be. There were actually low notes in songs that I could not even hear on the aftermarket speakers! To replace simply pop the trim around the interior door handle. There are metric bolts that hold the door panel on. Remove these. Pry the panel bottom away from the door. Lift up on the panel it is hooked on the top edge of the door. You may wish to disconnect the plugs for the switches. Unplug and Remove the speaker assembly from the door. Replace with new assembly and reinstall door panel in reverse order.
FIRST VERIFY THAT THERE ARE REALLY SPEAKERS THERE, MINE JUST HAS GRILL AND NO SPEAKERS, I BELIEVE BOSE SYSTEM DOES NOT HAVE SPEAKERS THERE. IF YOU DID WANT TO GET TO THEM, YOU WOULD NEED TO REMOVE ALMOST THE WHOLE DASH TO GET TO THEM. MY GRILLS WERE NOT REMOVABLE FROM THE TOP. I HAVE REMOVED THE WHOLE DASH DOWN TO THAT POINT. DONT DO IT. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND HOW MUCH YOU HAVE TO REMOVE TO GET THERE. That is correct. No dashboard speakers on Bose System. Billy
