Yes, but only if you have a wireless modem and a wireless enabled computer. If your computer does not have wireless you could always buy one from somewhere like Argos for about £15. you could also use a USB modem but that is not recommended as t can slow down your internet speed.
use an ethernet cable.
Ethernet Cable
An ethernet cable is a network cable that is used to connect your computer or other web-enabled device to the internet. You can use an ethernet cable to establish a wired connection from your computer to a router or modem to connect to the internet.
You will need to have an ethernet card in order to use dsl or cable internet with your computer.
No. The PS3 can only have a wired connection with an ethernet cable. The only other connection that is possible is WiFi. The PS3 can only connect to the internet with WiFi or ethernet cable no other type connection is possible. You can not use the HDMI or USB port to connect the PS3 to the internet. I do not believe a router can be connected to the internet cable without a modem or that you can have cable internet without a modem
The charge is for the internet access if you don't already have internet access. PS3 does not provide free internet it provides free use of the PlayStation Network on the internet. It does not matter if you use WiFi or an Ethernet cable to connect the use of the PS3 on the internet is free, the internet is the same charge to you with or without a PS3.
Use an Ethernet cable!
Simple anwser, yes.
PS3 must connect to the internet with the ethernet cable or the WiFi. It was not designed for a Dongle to be used in the USB port
An ethernet cable. Or wireless adapters.
Assuming it has a nic card (ethernet port) you can just use any CAT6 cable (ethernet cable/network cable). Any local computer store should have them.
For your PS3 connection you need WiFi or an ethernet cable that is connected to the internet. The HDMI cable only connects the PS3 to the HDTV and will not provide the internet connection.
