No, it will soften and or fog the phenolic plastic housing. Try mothers polishing kit.
Lighter fluid is a cheap fix for anything sticky. You can also use an orange based cleaner, such as "Goo Gone". Lighter fluid works best though.
Don't use lighter fluid. (It is unsafe.) What you want to do is remove any plastic (grips) and use brake cleaner. It's basically IDENTICAL to the gun cleaning spray. Works great!
any lighter fluid, except for bic lighter fluid
Absolutely not, you should only use Zippo Lighter fluid. If you're in a pinch, Ronson lighter fluid works too.
I wouldn't it might damage your records I would use alcohol instead it won't harm your vinyl records.
Use Dawn dish soap in warm water and use an old rag. Clean up lighter fluid and keep doing this until all fluid is up. Then rinse in warm water. Be sure that until it's cleaned up children, pets are not near the area (I know you know this, but thought I'd say it anyway. LOL)
No would use normal fluid
I'm kind of at a loss that the question even has to be answered but, no, you can not use dry cleaning fluid in a cigarette lighter.
I'm sure lighter fluid can kill a bee but the real question is why would you want to?
Yes, and many newsagents sell the official Zippo lighter fluid, as well as other brands (Swan etc). yes pretty much. You can also use Ronsonol lighter fluid.
I use a hair dryer to loosen glue and the clean with thinnersUse cigarette lighter fluid to clean off the old glue it works and it will not take off your paint.WD40 works wonders too.
Use can use any naptha lighter fluid in a Zippo. This may not be what you would identify as "normal," however; the more modern Bic lighter and many others use butane. Butane absolutely won't work in a Zippo. I'm not sure what would happen, but it could be anywhere from not working at all to a fiery explosion.
