No when you do an eraser burn it basically just takes the skin off layer by layer depending on how long you rub. it should get red but then scab to a gross greenish color. it will bleed if you pick the scab
You need a pencil with an eraser, not that big of an eraser or it wont work. You take the eraser end and rub it reaaallyyy fast on the back of your hand will your making a fist. Keep on rubbing until or it hurts, then you will see you have the top layer of your skin rubbed off! It scabs over after a while and it might scar for years...
