As a technician myself, I wouldn't even consider using 5w-30 on any high end car such as the Mercedes C-class line. It's best to use a full synthetic oil. You should get around 10,000 miles of protection with a quality full synthetic. This is as opposed to the 3,000 miles you get with regular 5w-30. We use Mobile 1 full synthetic 0w-40 for European cars. It should take around 8.5 quarts. I performed an oil change on a 2003 c240 just this afternoon actually. Hope this helps.
Yeah you can use that, it will be fine, Mercedes recommends 5w-40 full synthetic oil though, either mobil I or pennzoil synthetic
It depends on outside temperature. The recommended oil by the manufacturer is 5w30. You can probably use 10w30 also. I always use 5w30 myself. Check your owner's manual. Also if you use regular and not synthetic oil, change the oil and oil filter every 3 months or 3,000 miles. Almost all vehicles use Schedule B.
Use only SAE 5w30.
I live in FL, and use Mobil 1 synthetic 5w30. If regular motor oil was used prior or you are unsure, use motor flush first.
5w30 or 5w20 Check the oil cap. If it lists 5w20, use that. If it doesn't say, use 5w30.
Yes you can use 5W20 oil instead of 5W30. One is just thicker then the other. The 5W20 is better in the winter and the 5W30 is better in the summer.
5w30 for first 3oo miles and then 5w30 synthetic
5w30
Regular oil is recommended by Jeep. Edit: Correct, Jeep does not make a recomendation to use synthetic oil. However synthetic oil will not hurt the engine at all. The recommended weight is 5w30.
5w20 or 5w30 up to 100,000 miles.
Yes you can consider using 5w30 oil in your motorbike engine, but it depends upon season...
If the oil cap says 5w20, use 5w20. If the cap just has a yellow symbol, use 5w30.If the oil cap says 5w20, use 5w20. If the cap just has a yellow symbol, use 5w30.
