Drain the water and clean the pool it self with regular soap and wash it real good.
The Jones Center pools are open from Tuesday to Sunday!
Vacuum the pool. If you have to drain it, only drain it half way. Floating pools are a disaster.

yes, but it depends if you have a liquid or powder clorine yes, solid chlorine blocks can be bought at stores to throw into swimming pools to clean them.
Drain some of your pool and refill it with fresh water.
I think some of them do.
Dilution. You would need to drain and replace some of the water in the pool.
If its not connected through the skimmer I imagine it's there to empty it. hmmm, on the above. The main drain in pools is for circulating the lower part of the pool and is not intended to drain the pool as in a bath tub.
No , above ground pools are different in that you can drain them , the reason you cannot drain an in ground pool is because the pool is built to have water pressure , and it is very stressful on the walls , I hope this answered your question :) .
By opening the drain valve SLOWLY as not to cause a dangerous vortexI have worked on over 60,000 pools and have seen a drain valve once. The pool was built in the 30's on the coast and they used to pump sea water into it once a week and drain it to the ocean. I have drained pools by siphoning but you need enough grade to do this or a hillside behind the pool with a long enough hose to prevent soil erosion. You're better off renting a submersible pump.
The main drain should be split to two drain basins at least three ft. apart. This is done to prevent suction entrapment.
