You could use it if the flooring does not have a wire grid on the bottom, since it can cause bumblefoot. Also, guinea pigs are too sensitive to the cold to live outside as they orignate from Peru or Chile, so possibly if the hutch is kept indoors. However, more cage space is better so I would recommend building your own cage. A good website for building a cage is cavycages.com (Google it an it will come up).
