Yes, you can use a fish tank as hamster cage and it works really well ~ better than some of the wire cages because there is no chance of the hamster's feet getting caught in the wire. The tanks are easy to clean and provide a lot of room for a wheel and toys for your hamsters. Just make sure to get the wire lids that are made for the tank and tank clips if your wheel or toys are very tall.
You could use a Rat Cage for a Hamster but the space between each bar has to be 5mm apart. If not, your Hamster will escape.
The best cage for a Hamster is a Hamster Cage.

yes you can use the same cage, hamsters and guinea pigs are roughly the same animals and can use a hamster cage. Rabbits and guinea pigs can use the same cage also if it is pig enough. Depending on the size of your guinea pig, also guinea pigs love to hide so some sort of hiding object is great.
yes it could be if you make it suitable for your rats needs.
No. Hamster rat cage don't have enough space to pet rats. You can use Midwest Critter Nation rat cage. It has plenty of space to play and move around. You can check the reviews here- bestratpoisons. com/rat-cage-for-2-rats
I would say a good environment for a rat would probaly be in a little cage like a hamster.
Sanitize the cage and get new bedding and the cage is good as new!
Rats require more excersize than a hamster cage will allow for. They like to run and investigate and play so give them room to do so. Many hamster cages are barely big enough for hamsters let alone a rat. Look for cages that are open (not aquariums) for air circulation and that have tight enough metal bands so that a rat can not get its head caught in the wall of the cage.
Just use a large bird cage, or a rabbit cage. My rat has a rabbit cage, and she's as happy as can be. My old rat had a bird cage, and he was perfectly fine.
You should use bedding in your hamster cage and you should change it and clean the cage every few days. PetProductsByRoyal.com has some nice hamster cages.
a rat, mouse, gerbil, guinea pig, basically any rodent
NO. You can not put two different animals in the same cage! This is dangerous. They may fight and the hamster will probably not live. So unless you want a dead hamster, do not put them together.
you open the door of the cage and cup your hands and try to pick him up from underneath if he/she bites you use gloves or a towel
get rid of the hamster or buy a cage for it!!
Yes if it's one of the metal ones since they have sharp teeth and can chew through plastic.
