Yes you can if you have experience taking apart and fixing laptops. Soldering experience also needed.
You can relocate the power jack outside the laptop case.
1. Find short wires, about 3-4 inches long.
2. Solder wires to the motherboard
3. Run wires outside the laptop case
4. Solder a new power jack on the other end of the harness
