On average, about 250 people die each year in Australia as a result of drink driving. This accounts for approximately one-fourth of all road-related deaths in the country. These tragic incidents highlight the importance of responsible alcohol consumption and obeying traffic laws to ensure road safety for all.
In UK, drink driving is considered a criminal offence and will show up on a DBS check if it is not eligible for filtering (CRB checks were replaced by DBS checks in 2012).Added: (in the US) While it is an unlawful offense, unless it involved some type of criminally chargeable offense (e.g.: multiple repeat offender - a vehicular homicide - etc - etc) it will most likely show up on your drivers history record instead of your criminal history check.

No, not as far as I know! Firstly, we don't call them felons, or convicts, or ex cons. We call individuals with a criminal record just that, individuals with a criminal record. Although I can't swear this, I would find it very difficult to believe that any judge could order a prohibition of not drinking to any individual with criminal convictions.
