It is a matter of conjecture whether the win over violent person by weapon of non violence or ahimsa is possible or not. It depends upon the mood of the violent person at that time, when non violent approach was forwarded to him and it is my firm conviction that the result is 50:50. Yea, Mahatma Gandhi initiated his struggle for independence against the British by non-violent means with partial success,but credit must also go to Netaji Subhas Bose who formed Azad Hind Fouz and attacked the British from outside.
