Why would a 1988 Mazda 323 battery keep dying after about a month Would your stereo and 2 sub-woofers with an amp affect it?

yes. make sure the way the amp to the woofer is wired is done so that it is 'switched ' to your raidio/cd player. Its usually the blue wire that dedicates the woofers amp unless you have an electronic antenna that goes up and down when your car turns off and on. If you used this blue wire for your anty. then you have to find another way to have your woofer amp swtched to your cars ignition[like a direct line to the pos[+] bat terminal that is fused properly. I had this exact prob. with an older Audi I have. Your Woofer company should also have a 1-800 number that if you call they will tell you exactly how to run the wire to have the amp switched off when the ign is off.

What is remote wire for car amp?

remote wire is to control amp, bass coming from subs, and the frequency

Do you need to hook up the remote wire on your car amp?

Yes a remote wire is necessary. You must wire the remote wire from the amp to and ignition source of power (a component which turns on when the ignition in the car is engaged.) i.e. the radio. The remote wire signals for the amp to power on.

Can you hook up a sub woofer with out an amp in a car?

i. HIGHLY. recommend. an. amp. But it is possible if you would buy a converter for your CD player or just connect the sub wire from your sub and connect it into your rear speakers on your trunk. But this would send treble through them which sounds like crap and isn't exactly the best on the subs. I would get an amp

How do you hook a sub woofer to a cdj 400 pioneer?

you cant hook a woofer to player! you could connect woofer to mixer or amp A cdj is only a CD player in the same way a car player needs a source of power to push the sound to your speakers so does the CD as said you need a amp if your sub woofer is preamped then technically you should be able to connect it directly to it but you will need to be careful of the sound output and realise that you will not be able to control the levels as well compared to if you were using a mixer or amp.

What happens with no ground wire on a car amp?

How can a home woofer be attached with a car?

Like any other subwoofer,I would recommend getting an amp and the required wiring kit used for a decent audio system, but if your not looking to get all into that just unscrew one of your cars speakers, and use speaker wire to plug it into your woofer from the same place that it's already plugged in.taking out the speaker in your car and using those wires that were previously there would also work.

Is it possible to attach a car subwoofer to a guitar amplifier and if so how?

It is possible, just wire a normal input jack to your subwoofer and hook it up to your guitar amp. I've done this for years and never blown anything up, and the sound you get.. Well, it depends on your amp etc, but my H&K Matrix 100 sounds perfect for stoner rock through a 12" car sub.

Can you wire a guitar amp into a car audio system?

Can? Possibly, but it is unlikely to work as you desire. You should expect problems with hum, grounding and voltage. You would probably do best by talking with a local custom car audio shop in your area.

How do you wire a capacitor to an amp?

Positive post of capacitor is connected to the heavy amp cable. The ground terminal (or case) of the capacitor is connected to the car's ground or a ground wire that leads to the car's chassis. That's it.
