Not as easy a question to answer as it might seem. These things are not exactly as black and white as some believe them to be.
There are three states that preclude prosecution for sex with a minor: Colorado, Michigan, and Utah. Of these, only one has a separation of greater than five years, Utah, and that would be six years.
Now to clarify, and much debate may be fomented over this, but facts are facts: every state of the US has age of consent laws, as does the US federal system. Most states have moved to comply with the US federal AOC of 18, although there are several that have set this at 17, and still fewer that remain 16. Now, those who follow AOC with no eye to other laws has a fool for a client. The law that matters, the one under which so many adult (over the age of majority, 18) are convicted is the Sex with a Minor laws; a minor is anyone under the age of 18.
In short, then, unless you are residing in the state of Utah, it is entirely possible for your boyfriend to go to PRISON (not jail) for engaging in any form of sexual contact with you if you are a minor.
Both of you, if you have a true love for each other, be responsible about it, put your hormones in check, and wait until both of you are eighteen (18).
