Unfortunately it is. It really depends on the doctor and what the script was. If it was for like, benzo's (schedule iv) i.e. Xanax, klonopin, ativan, you call the police and make a report take it to your dr. And he/she will give you enough to last you till the script is up. But anything over a schedule ii may not because of dea laws and regulations. Sorry just try to whether it out. I never take my whole script with me but keep them locked away at home and just take out the days supply. Hope this helps.
