In clinical trials with dogs they used 1mg of zyrtec per 2 pounds of dog. So a 20 pound dog can take 10mg although with my 18 pound shiba the vet recommended 5mg. I would err on the lower dose.
GET HIM TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY. Zyrtec may be harmful or fatal to dogs if it is swallowed.
Benadryl is a completely different type of drug to Atopica. Atopica is often used for allergys especially skin problems (perhaps this is what is wrong with your dog?). It is a very good drug and acts to dampen down the inappropriate immune response your dog is experiencing helping her feel more comfortable and less itchy. Benadryl is not licensed for use is dogs and comes in a strength made for humans, not a little Maltese! Please, please don't use it on your dog. She is on one of the best drugs for allergys there is. It isn't worth risking her health just to save some money.
Dogs can have either Zyrtec or Robitussin DM (or CF). These medications are for two different purposes, they can't be used interchangeably. Zyrtec is an allergy medication, and Robitussin is a cough suppressant. Your vet can advise you of the proper medication and dose for your dog, based on it's weight and the condition your dog has.
1 mg per 2 lbs of weight
Spend lots of time together. Take it for a walk and play with it.
You take a bunch of dog racing tubes and put them together.
That a very question. Well to me my dog goes out by him/her self otherwise If you plan to you can attach your dog to a leesh and you and your dog can get out of your room Together and you can take your dog for a walk. If he/she's tired for a walk or playing let him/her rest.
you take a cat and dog, put them in a room together. then wait an hour. take them out. drink coffee and orange juice mixed together. your done
Hello!Always be sure to take your pet to a Vet before administering any type of medition. There could be other causes for allergy like symptoms, and you would not want to treat for the wrong problems. Also, not all human medication is safe for pets, so at the very least call your Vet and be sure before giving it to your pet.Hope he feels better soon!
dog will dies
You can't, it's not in a dog's nature to take the alpha role, even puppies All you have to do is make sure the dog and puppy well trained and to supervise them together at an early stage to ensure they behave appropriately.
