They are both nuclear reactions. That's just about it. Other than that they are completely different. Fission is the nuclear reaction when two atoms smash the living soul out of each other and split apart, releasing nuclear energy. The other, fusion, involves the same things as fission, expect that extreme heat and pressure is required for it to happen. Instead of splitting each other apart nuclear fusion fuses atoms together into another compound/element, while releasing about 10 times as much energy as nuclear fission.
The binding energy (Strong Atomic Force) released is much greater when fusion occurs than when fission occurs. As an example, that is why fission bombs typically have yields around 100 to 500 kilotons of equivalent TNT, while fusion bombs typically have yields in the 25 to 50 megaton range. The problem is that fusion requires a lot of energy to initiate - in fact, most fusion bombs use a fission bomb to set them off.
cant repeat the same process twice!,
No such animal. That would be like hammering an orange into an apple.... They are both different pure elements. Unless you're handy with the nuclear fission or fusion, you cant make one from the other. No chemical or physical changes can alter that.
Type your answer here... Alpha decay Nuclear fission
you cant !!!!!!!!!
you cant.
you cant
you cant from what i know
u cant it only in the show
Uranium. It undergoes controlled nuclear fission. to form plutonium amongst other elements . In doing so it liberates heat. This heat is used to heat water to steam, to drive a turbine, which in turn drives a generator to make electricity.
nuclear is important because if no nuclear we cant fresh the air. it is harmful because of the waste that through in any space
