Starter solenoid?
Battery not fully charged?
your battery could be dead or your alternator first check to make sure that the connections at the battery are tight and free of corrosion if they are corroded the go to a part store and they will have stuff to clean then with. then check the connections at the stater and make sure that they are tight. if that does not work get your car to start and disconnect the negative(black) cable on your battery. if your car dies your alternator is going bad or the connections to the alternator tighten those connections and see if it works if not take to a repiar shop and have them check the alternator and battery
Depending where the loose connection is i.e. battery cable, stater feed, solenoid, ignition switch etc.
if the started doesnt do anything its the solenoid if it just clicks and spins its the bendix
You may need to replace your battery.
Just had the same problem with mine...if it will not turn over sometimes then it is your ignition switch. If it does turn over everytime check your stater, starter cylinoid, alternator and battery.
If you hear only a single click - most likely solenoid switch Make sure connections clean and tight on solenoid "Pigtail wire" and also solenoid on top of starter (Ford had some problems with corrosion and connections loosening up over a period of time). If you hear multiple Clicks - check battery connections to make sure clean and tight One other "rap" the stater with hammer or whatever and see if vehicle starts indicating bad starter brushes
The starter is bad or the engine is locked up. Make sure the starter getting power then turn the engine by hand.
Did you just charge the battery or take the connections off and clean them? If not, clean them and retighten them. If it still won't even turn over, you may have a bad ignition switch.
Double check the wire connections at the starter, you may have them mixed up.
Look at the bottom of the engine follow the + battery cable
the batterys are probrably crackling, check your wiring
follow the thick positive wire from the battery and you will find a stater at the end of that rainbow
