The conflict was the part of A) the attack on pearl harbor which was a surprise. The US had to decide to enter WWII they had to face the faxct that neutrality was not safe. They came to a conflict when the war ended and peace was made with the Japanese. Today soldiers from the Us and Japan that were once enimies are now friendly towards each other, so that is the basic coflict and compromise which was the theme of the History Day project....it makes me wonder...I am doing history day too...alone on the Cold war and the fall of the Berlin wall.
