Food Sanitation is the actual practice for preventing microbes/bacteria/parasites that can cause sickness from foods ingested is the easiest explanation. It is more than not washing hands before and after food handling; but it goes as far as the origin of the food, and where it is produced. There is an entire science behind this, but we will only touch the basics; as not to put our readers asleep.
