its gotta be a Ford a problem with the center brake light circuit causes the lights to go out i believe it is a diode
Check bulbs?
If the center one works then it will almost certainly be 2 Blown globes.
My rear window brake light works, but not my tail light brakes on my 1997 Monte Carlo. What is the problem?
The left brake light works the right brake light doesn't and the bulbs is good
The only thing common to all those lights (but not to the center brake light) is the hazard switch. I'd check that next. On my 96 Century the hazards override the signals and brake lights meaning that the signals and brake lights must be wired into the hazard switch somehow.
The ground for the brake lamp. When the tail lights are off, the tail light circuit can act as a ground for the brake light. When the tail lights are on, it can't.
the turn signal switch is probably bad
your brake light switch is probably out
it could be the brake light switch that usually contacts the break pedal when you depress the brake pedal. check that out first.
tail light bulbs has two filaments inside. One for regular lights and a second for brake lights. One filament is burnt out. Change the bulb.
Check the fuse. Then check the wiring.
