did you have to change the fuel pump harness plug, if so recheck the wiring order, if that's right check the fuel pump relay's, and all related fuel system fuses, and if all check to be alright, run a code scan on system
You may have a bad fuel pump relay or a blown fuel pump fuse.
hello same thing that happend to me i changed my fuel pump, spark plugs, spark plug wires, crank sensor, disturbutor cap and rotary button and still didn't work and still would not start. and the fuel pump would not kick in,until i changed the disturbutor itself. i changed the whole unit. hope this helps p.s my car works fine now it's a 2.5 cirrus v6 1995
put a 305 in a 95 gmc 1500 now it want start. We put a new fuel pump in and its still want fire.
I have the exact same problem. After replacing the fuel pump everything was fine. Now the fuel pump does not always kick on and you have to turn the ignition on and off until you hear the fuel pump kick in. Went to start this morning and fuel pump did not kick in, still wont. So I checked the relays, all good. Now the fuel pump kicks on but it still wont start. Did the computer on this thing die?
fuel pump was coming on before changed fuel filter now its not is there a reason for this
Did you install a new fuel filter? If not, do so. You may have got a defective new fuel pump. It happens now and then.
check for distributor rotation. maybe your timing belt went out
More than likely, you installed the fuel pump incorrectly and that is why the car won't start. Have the installation checked by a professional.?æ
I had same issue, replaced fuel pressure regulator on fuel rail under intake cover. Starts and runs great now. Scott check your timing belt
fuel pump relay? If it will not crank it has nothing to do with the fuel pump. You need to check the starter system.
check for power at the fuel pump assy wire plug on top or near fuel tank check fuses I'd guess if all the wiring checked out that the fuel pump itself was bad
after replacing my fuel pump twice on my 94 s10 blazer it still wouldn't turn over. after 2 months of tinkering around, i found a short in the power line/wiring harness. i bypassed this problem by running a new power wire to the fuel pump which is ran by a toggle switch in my dash. now i just flip the switch before i start my truck and she starts every time. good luck, check your relays!
