If that is all you did was change spark plugs. and you did not pull any wires loose under the hood. You may want to check the length of the new spark plug thread to the old one to make sure you have the correct type for your vehicle. If they are to long you will be glad it did not turn over and knock a hole in the pistons and the motor would be junk.
Spark plugs and wires
Remove the spark plug wires from your 2000 Chevy Impala spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs with a 5/8 deep well socket by turning the socket to the left. Reverse the process to install the new spark plugs.
Give the spark plug boot a twist to free it from the spark plug then pull it off of the spark plug by the boot.
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plugs wires and boots and remove the spark plugs. Put in the spark plugs, replace the spark plug wires and boots, and connect the battery.
Does it turn over? Does it have spark? Does it have fuel? Does it have compression?

The 1988 Chevy Cavalier spark plug wires are quite easy to remove. The spark plug wires simply pull off on each end. Put the new spark light wires on by pushing downward on each end.
