There are two steps to remove the battery.
1) Disconnect the positive cable from the battery using a #10 metric wrench, then move the cable away from the battery. It is still connected to the car, just not the battery. Same thing for the negative cable.
2) There is a battery support that holds the battery in place. It is small (about 3/8" in diameter) and is across the middle of the battery. Using a #10 metric wrench or socket, disconnect it from the frame near the headlight. This support is also attached to the bottom of the battery tray. There is a rod that is in the shape of a 'J' holding the other side in place. Give the support a little slack by pushing down on the 'J' bar side and turn the support a little to the left and the 'J' will come out from under the battery tray.
You are now ready to remove the battery!
To install the battery, reverse the process. (be sure to connect the negative first, then the positive)
