the 12 is a pcm disconnect code can happen if the battery has been disconnected and hasn't had 50 key on cycles since...the 55 is an end of message code

It doesn't have OBDII, I think that's why you can't find it. You can check the code by turning the key on and off 3 times within 5 seconds. The code will flash at you using the "check engine light". Long pauses in between indicate flashes seperates the different codes.

The code numbers are two didgit codes. That was probably a 12 and a 55. 12 is start of message, 55 is end of message. Basically that means there are no trouble codes.
There are pages and pages of things that can cause a check engine light. You need to have it checked with a scantool. Then the code can be diagnosed and repaired.
