Christianity is founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ and his apostles. It is not sect or offshoot of any Judaism as some believe. Some first century enemies referred to it as a Jewish sect, but that is incorrect. Jesus was used by his Father to implement a new way of worship and access to God that was superior to the old system of Judaism which was passing away.

Did Christianity originate in Armenia?

NO. Christianity really began with the followers of Jesus in the southwest Levant (Israel/Palestine) and had many of its doctrines codified in the Aegean region (Greece and Western Turkey). Armenia is famous in the history of Christianity since it is one of the first, if not the first, country to make Christianity its official religion. (There are arguments as to whether Georgia or Ethiopia beat Armenia to the punch of being the first country to make Christianity its official religion, but we are talking about decades here, not centuries of difference.)

What is the new religion that began in Judea in the beginning of the first century CE?

That would be Christianity, although whether it was a new religion or the continuation of an old one is debatable, depending upon whom you ask. Answer 2 Christianity began in the second or third decade of the first century CE, according to popular chronology. Jewish belief holds that Christianity was indeed a new religion, and made a sharp departure from Judaism while still maintaining a portion of Judaism's content. However, the extent of the difference between the two religions became clear only over a period of time.
