remove the coil pack first
coil pack
Yes. Its the amber warning light on the central display with a picture of a coil on it. It is only used on the diesel version of the car.
They are under the coil pack, you need to take off the black plastic cover to see them.
Coil Pack retails at £94 and plugs at £5 each, labour is only 30 mins if your paying someone to do it. If your doing it yourself then labour is free and you can get the pack for around £50-£70 plugs will still be about £5 each
I got similar problem with my Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8l petrol year 2000 after i bought it. i was looking through car and final i found that one of four coil spark plug ends was broken. i replace coil pack and now everything is perfect. drive as a new! but also could be problem with fuel system - need to check that!
Under the coil pack.
if the coil is on the distributor cap, remove cover then disconnect wires from the coil and remove coil. if coil is on engine then loosen the bolt and remove from coil mount
Only if it has Coil On Plugs.
it means you need a new coil pack
Remove engine cover, determine which coil is bad or better yet replace them all. Remove the electrical connection from ignition coil, remove 7/32 bolt from coil (be careful not to drop),pull coil from top of sparkplug and remove.
